Lone Star Church of the Brethren is a church of people who love God and care for each other. Founded in 1918, we have a rich history of serving Jesus and the community of Lone Star. When you come to Lone Star, you will find a group of people who live life together, supporting each other in the hard times and celebrating together in times of joy. Our goal is to grow together in our love and knowledge of Christ.
Children's
Church
Children start morning services with their parents, participating in music and Scripture reading. They are dismissed around 10:45 for Children's Church. Our Children's Church curriculum uses games, crafts, stories, and other activities to teach children about God's immense love for them.
Deacon's
Minstry
At Lone Star Church we have a Deacon's Ministry. The deacons support our church family and our community in many ways, including prayer, visiting those in the hospital, arranging food for those dealing with grief or major life changes, and lending an ear to anyone who needs to talk. Music Ministry
At Lone Star we have a rich history of Traditional Worship through the singing of hymns. Our music leader and our piano players are dedicated to bring people into a time of worshipping God together through song. We also enjoy special music performances during holiday services.
Pastoral Support
Pastor Tim loves to have fun and joke, but he is serious about his calling to support others in good times and bad.
